The Mavericks roared to a 16 point lead early while employing a zone defense most of the night. Rick Carlisle kept his Mavs starters through a good part of the fourth stanza while LeBron, Kyrie, and Tristan sat after three periods.
Baylor improved to 6-0 with the 61-58 victory over TCU as the Bears now head to Morgantown, West Virginia for an early game tomorrow. No doubt that Baylor should roll by at least three touchdowns as Dana Holgerson and his Mountaineers come off an exciting win over Texas Tech (The Red Raiders come to Ft. Worth on the 25th).
Look for more JJ Watt magic and it won't surprise me one bit if the New York Giants play a near perfect game with newest threat Kevin Ogletree. The Chiefs is also a game I would happily go after.
Over 1,267 total yards of offense by the two teams. 782 of that by Baylor where Bryce Petty would account for 510 of those yards via six touchdown passes at McLane Stadium.
With an excellent passing game and one of the best defenses in the NFL, San Diego sitting pretty at this point. If the running game provided by Oliver continues to improve, this team is going to be one to watch in the playoffs without question. Maybe they will finally start to get some respect around the country.
