Once underway the brothers Gilmour handled the videography and were beyond professional. Larry Knowles did the lion's share of work with photoraphy duties, Vanessa Compton did equally amazing work with the interviewing duties. This is mentioned as the Wranglers now go on the road for four weeks before the next Wranglers home game on March 31st. It makes sense for me to have your marquee guy healthy for the local fans.
Saddened by the body language Josh Hamilton displayed yesterday during a 36 minute press conference with the media. Bible in hand under a tent, it seemed like Josh was being a little defensive when discussing the season ahead. What will undoubtedly be his last as a Ranger. Hard to believe that nine years ago today a massive ice storm rocked North Texas with a fury. So much so that I can recall a normal 5 minute to work taking an hour. I remember being the lone guy working the bar cocktail side while most of Addison proper was stuck or snowed in. Many of you chose to come see me and drink. That was a crazy 48 hours. At one point I picked up a piece of ice that was 4 inches thick. You could see the layers of ice and snow. It was like looking inside a piece of 5 layer chocolate cake. Crazy...
If walks are the very thing that will put gray hairs on a manager, my guess is the same applies to missed foul shots in basketball. Seeing Kobe miss two in a row-rare. Seeing Dirk miss two straight-unheard of! Watching the Lakers miss 7 of 9 at crunch time and STILL get the win? Absolutely demoralizing.
