Both Dallas City FC and San Antonio will represent as part of the four teams to play in Tulsa for the South Central Conference Championship Tournament. July 25th the Vaqueros will be a part of a Charity Shield Event match to help benefit Hispano Exito.
FCDallas happily takes the point and improves to 6-7-5 while the Crew drew for a 3rd straight game and now sit at 4-5-7. Columbus played without the services of Waylon Franics or Giancarlo (World Ciup) while FCDallas had Moises Hernandez, Blas Perez, and Fabian Castillo inactive due to suspension.
Dallas Keuchel was a late scratch due to arm irritation. Brett Oberholzer (a player who should remain in the Astros rotation and not shuttled) was called up from Oklahoma City and just pitched his heart out for 6 and a third innings of 5 hit ball.
Coming into play on June 27th the Rangers fell victim to an eight game skid and getting swept by the Tigers by a combined score of 22-3.
For the 1st time in NBA history a Canadian would be the first pick of a draft courtesy of Andrew Wiggins. This in itself wasn't the only north of the border phenomenon. It just so happened that there were players of Canadian descent who would get the pick on an NBA Draft night.
