    One Crazy Anointing!

I was at 2.5 miles into a jog when I saw the bright light flashing behind me and then a huge 'KABOOM!' Made my ears ring for just a moment as I continued and got closer to my residence. I found my pace got a little quicker and my heartbeat being a step faster as it occurred to me that the storm-clouds were indeed following me! Just like 4/1/07 when I didn't heed what the neigbors upstairs were saying...

    One Historical Night Of Dramatics!

Glued to my television I was. If I didn't see it with my own eyes I would have thought I relapsed. The Beantown heartbreak was bad enough. Then to see the Braves blow a 9th inning lead only to lose in 13? Ouch. Then to say that the Braves were birthed in Boston? Double ouch? How about I start a new Babe Ruth curse? The record of losses for Boston/Atlanta in September? 19-18! YEOW!!!!

    Anaheim Recoiled.

Still waiting to see who the Rangers will face off against beginning Friday. Boston or Tampa Bay? Or is a flight to New York in the itinerary should they lose and Detroit can close out the Indians? Will we see playoff for a wild card spot baseball on Thursday? Never a dull moment as we near October a second season begins. I'll be watching as I'm sure you will too.

    Baileys-Straight up!

The roof was open and Dallas secured it's first home opener in Arlington as over 90,000 people left happily. The lines were made longer due to newer security measures now in place. Again I picked the Skins to win/cover and they did. 9-6-1 for the 3rd week of picks. Year to date: 32-12-4! Week 4 will provide more head scratches I am sure.

    Right On The 'Money' Ball!

I have fond memories of Joe Cribbs, Conrad Dobler, Joe Ferguson, Roland Hooks, and Phillip Villapiano doing fun things to the competition to the tune of an 11-5 record. Yesterday Buffalo spotted the Patriots a 21 point lead and...lo and behold...found a way to come back and secure an exciting 34-31 victory. Their first in 15 tries! Ryan Fitzpatrick no doubt giving alot of the old school AFL fans flashbacks to the days of Daryle Lamonica and George Blanda when high scores were in vogue.
