    Grateful at Fourteen!

As I look back on all that has transpired in the last 14 years suffice to say that some lessons came quicker than others. Combine this with a lone-wolf loner approach to life things tend to get a little more complicated than needed. I always wish I could be that person who always told me to 'Keep it simple'. Still can't.

    One Monday Night Remembrance.

Just gotten home from a busy day at work in Addison, Texas. The weather was sunny and beautiful. My first autumn to be in Texas as I was slowly beginning to acclimate to my surroundings. Winning Week 1 Picks!

Fans of offense saw some history last night. Two QB's who threw for over 700 yards, 7 TDs and 0 Interceptions! How sweet is that? Why Sean Payton chose to not kick a field goal in the 3rd period and then not pass for a tying TD at games end leaves way too much to be desired. Was last night a possible playoff preview come January? Why not? I still think we may see some Super excitement with the Jets and Packers.

    Whoop Dat Ass!!!

The last 6 years NBC has televised the premiere game of the season, the defending Super Bowl champion has won every game. There's a good trivial tidbit for you! More concerns fall into the lap of the Dallas Cowboys. Tyron Smith is now out with a hyper extended knee. Not good news for the O line, to be sure. Call me crazy but I believe Sunday night's game near Ground Zero will be one where New York dominates between the 20s and the 'bend but don't break' defensive mantra of Dallas comes up with the stop, the turnover, the big play.
