    Casey At The Quarterback!

    All four of TCU's losses to top-20 teams this season have seen it with a chance to win. Against both LSU and Oklahoma, the Horned Frogs had the ball with an opportunity to take the lead in the fourth quarter. TCU and Texas Tech were tied with less than four minutes to play. TCU trailed Oklahoma State by seven points midway through the fourth quarter. As for last Saturday night's 30-7 loss to the Longhorns Gary Patterson in his own way called out his team for a better reflection of leadership and team play.

    The First Had More Hair For All!

    The energy inside the AAC was electric. The court was surrounded by police and firmemen on the heels of 9-11-01. Tim Hardaway and Dirk Nowitzki gace two very entertaining speches. My camera kept busy. My ticket was bought at the ticket window a mere 18 rows off the court. This Southwest team had energy and loved to shoot the three ball.

    A Day At The Races!

    Going strong since 1997 racing in November brings an energy and hijinx all its own with the proverbial finish line getting closer for the Sprint Cup. The running joke shared amongst my friends is that if the Sprint Race happens with the Cowboys at home then it makes sense for Jimmie Johnson to win on a track he recognizes well.

    When DEZtinies Collide!

    In that frustrating 31-30 defeat Dez Bryant caught all of 3 passes for 72 yards. His demonstrations of frustration as the game wound down was the source of not getting the ball. The video and the audio release will show a ballplayer who wants to win. That's perfectly fine, however...

    19 Years...And 186 Minutes!

    Texas (5-2, 4-0) was coming off a bye and a convincing road win in Dallas against the Oklahoma Sooners. This night also belonged to the Longhorns by a score of 30-7. Early on the winds were swirling and it appeared that perhaps the bad weather would proceed to pass on by.
