My heart raced a bit more Monday night as we walked down onto the field to introduce and welcome a bunch of ex Rangers and Frank Lucchesi on his night. Jim Morris, Jack Lazorko, Tom Grieve, Rich Billings, Mike Jeffcoat, Jose Guzman, Mike Bacsik, Joe Macko, Dave Hostetler, Bill Stein, and Bill Fahey were in attendance.

Where diet is concerned the smartest thing I did was to 'Just Say No' to the late night ice cream binges of Ben and Jerry...to the tune of 1 gallon a day. Not fun, I can tell you. Northern New Jersey caught a lot of rain but very little damage to speak of, thankfully. I really feel for the people of Virginia and Washington DC in light of what has transpired in the last 72 hours. No doubt this weather will continue to fuel the talk of 'end of the world' theorists on the religious side of things.
Today is going to be an interesting day. I knew that when I noticed a message on my Facebook page to make a phone call. Imagine my surprise that an event I was invited to now gets more exciting as I will have the opportunity to do something special. On a baseball field of all places!!! God is watching, and no doubt laughing and saying, 'I told you so, Rainman!'
