You learn in time that sometimes things just happen for a reason. The moment is only that. To provide you with a memory and maybe a lesson. The lesson today was anything can change on a moment's notice. From the weather to the supposed plan. Not my job to question. Only to roll with it. Whether I agree or not.
In a way I sort of like this kind of predicament. Having been to the last two free Cowboys practices was a pleasant experience. It also coincided with home games for the Rangers. I also remembered the Tennessee Titans had a receiver named Pierre Garcon. The waiter in me felt an instant bond with the man who bore that French name of servitude. The highlight of the night was seeing the Titan punter, Trapozzo or something like that, actually hit the video board. That would spark some discussion about raising the board. It didn't happen.
