Watching Sammy Sosa reach the 600 mark was awesome. Seeing Craig Biggio near 3,000 was memorable. Witnessing Frank Thomas and Biggio reach 3,000 and 500 on the same day was epic! To hear media pundits and beat writers proclaim that 500 homers is no longer Hall Of Fame worthy is pure bulls&^t!
Back when the Internet was first being hatched and AOL was your only option I was very into the techno side of things. Over time I became frustrated that after getting up to speed there was something newer, bigger, better, and badder. Now with the birth of the I-Phone, I saw something that made me laugh.
It was also a thrill to be able to say that I was maybe one or two games short of history. Craig Biggio the last of a dying breed of loyalty to one team closes in on 3,000 hits.
