Test of Fate for Week 8.

Week 8 in the NFL and I do not have a good feeling about Brett Favre. In fact I have the same gut feeling about Brett's ankle as I did Tony Romo going down last Monday night. This is going to be painful to watch. A future cripple on a bad ankle. After 21 years screw the streak!

    No SABER-matricians needed.

This is one time of the year where being a fan is kind of like seriously dating someone. The more you date and grow your immediate circle senses a change. If they like it they are in board. Being Right is Not Important.

Many in the media are already giving the World Series ring to the Rangers. Excuse me, have you seen the starting Three that San Francisco feature? Tim Lincecum, Matt Cain, and Jonathon Sanchez! Going against Cliff Lee, CJ Wilson, and Colby Lewis. Starting pitching favors the Giants. The relief will favor Texas. So will middle relief and overall team speed. Buster Posey, Aubrey Huff, and Juan Uribe match up very well with the tandem of Josh Hamilton, Vlad Guerrero, and Ian Kinsler.
