    Major Flurry Of Activity!

    Quite the sea of Green and Black and Yellow throughout Arlington. That crowd shall intensify beginning tomorrow. One word you will hear alot in the next week: Barricade. Let me assist on this one. If you can, just avoid Randol Mill! One lane each way with the camera happy is an absolute nightmare. As I was making my rounds taking pictures (and doing the same for the many visitors) I had a girl jump out of a cab and say 'Take my picture! From Osaka!' To which I did and said 'Kunichi Wa!' She left happy.

    Being Remembered: One Tall Order!

    That day the Buccaneers and Raiders (the two pirate teams) would win their respective games and advance to the Super Bowl. The Cowboys group was as nice as could be. One funny moment was when I walked up to 'Too Tall' and said, 'I want to test my memory...February 23rd?'

    Blowups, Blowouts, and Shout Outs!

    I remember the images of Ronald Reagan consoling the families of relatives and of total strangers who could not stop crying. The news was sad that weekend much like that 1st day of February eight years ago. Here I was all set to get my 21 year old drunken ass even drunker. The television images stopped me cold in my tracks. That and the night Joe Theismann broke his leg on national TV were the only two times I stopped drinking cold turkey. Numbing.

    One Very Close Call...

    The angle in which I was hit the force was angled toward the passenger side and thus I was spared the brunt of impact. I was lucky in that regard. Believe you me I was saying my prayers this morning. Work now had to be called and the boss says to handle my business. Lunch covered.
