    Stars and Saves Forever!

When goal number three bounced off Jose Theodore's back I thought we were good to go. In 2003 I saw a playoff game that Dallas lost in OT. Marty allowed the tying shot with under a minute left and then again two minutes into overtime. 2004 the same thing in Game 4 4/14th. Monday night took five minutes of OT before Joe Sakic deflected the winner into the net. Talk about a solar plexus shot to the gut! Damn!

    Better Late than Great.

As long as Bobby Jackson and Eddie Jones can sink the threes, Memphis can make this an interesting series. There's just no way they'll keep up with the tempo of the Mavericks. I don't see it in his eye...So glad Devin Harris is back. As Erik Dampier goes so go the Mavericks from where I sit..

    Playoff Rumblings and Rants.

For a guy who is so under the radar, Young is the man! Kameron Loe had problems with location. Aberration and not the norm. Rheinecker shall debut later today against the Devil Rays...

    Anticipation, and Anniversaries.

This is a fun time of the year for me, albeit a bit maddening. All the media pundits were yakking about how the Dallas Stars would probably play a Friday/Sunday combination of home games against the Colorado Avalanche this weekend. Then NBC had to step in and screw that up! Saturday at 2 pm then games 2-7 if needed every other day in a 2-2-1-1-1 format.

    Century Old Shaker!

I was in Costa Mesa a newlywed and if anything was shaking...it wasn't from the earthquake(ahem!). Back to that 1906 event, it was reported that the night before the tragedy, singer Enrico Caruso was performing downtown and got a rude awakening. Caruso vowed to 'never play there again'...
