    Better Late than Great.

Yawn! Happy Monday friends. Cursing TNT under my breath for the late start Sunday night yet applauding the efforts of Dirk, Devon, and Damp-3D if you will...

As long as Bobby Jackson and Eddie Jones can sink the threes, Memphis can make this an interesting series. There's just no way they'll keep up with the tempo of the Mavericks. Once it gets going it is fun to watch. Mav fans can also rejoice and think back to a win against this very team two months ago after trailing by 19...Pao Gasol looks injured. I don't see it in his eye...So glad Devin Harris is back. As Erik Dampier goes so go the Mavericks from where I sit...

Will the real Dallas Stars please stand up? Where the hell was my team on Saturday? Even after a 2-0 lead they resembled the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl, playing to lose, out of position, slow to the puck. May Dallas follow the lead of the rest of the NHL teams who bounced back after game 1 to even it up. Jason Arnott and Brendan Morrow are the two gents who have to ignite the flame...Having watched yesterday's Calgary Anaheim and Tampa Bay Ottawa matches I am sure both series' go six at the least. The Ducks appear ready to get rough in the ice trenches...

The Rangers have now won 8 of 10. Kevin Mench has returned with a vengeance, John Koronka is now the teams ace with three wins, and Oakland in town for three makes for a great recipe for another sweep. The A's have lost four of five, aren't scoring and after Rich Harden the pitching is suspect. That works for me. The Master is back to sporting his summer look so be sure to tune into 'Menchurian Candidate Country'. It's back with a vengeance!

    Make it a great day!

Over and out in Big D
