I hope to get that answer beginning January 4th as I move to a different locale. I had a wonderful nine year run in a sports bar environment. I now choose to focus on a different medium in the name of fine dining. I look forward to this!
Dallas now a comfy 7-1-2 in their last ten home games with two more on the menu tomorrow and Saturday. May they keep the momentum juju in their favor. This night, the Stars looked like they can play with anybody. I still think we'll see the Blackhawks vying for some gold come June. They're that good and they're equally fun to watch.
I have waited a lifetime to see Minnesota return to a Super Bowl and get the W. It may take two lifetimes to get that wish now. 1998 was rough. 2009 becoming even rougher. Too many mistakes and a missed chance at home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. The Saints now get that distinction despite two straight home losses...
A case can also be made that the Dallas Cowboys might be peaking at the right time. That's what a Super Bowl bound will do. Prior to the meltdown, many fans were assuming a domed Super Bowl with the Saints/Vikes/Colts. This may still come to pass provided Brett Favre can think like a team guy. I will chuckle if we see a rematch with the Pack and Minnies along with New York-Indy.
My guess is the game of the day should be in Philadelphia as the Broncos and Eagles battle for a playoff spot. Otherwise keep an eye on what goes down in Miami.
