What a welcome relief it was to awaken to cooler temps. The cool front actually began it's arrival in the 9 o'clock hour last night. This day it was more noticeable. The evening was a welcome arrival to the Ballpark with two of my lady friends after a day of watching golf in Irving.
It's one thing to watch a golf tourney to watch on television. It's quite another to see the athletes up close and personal. With the Byron now well underway, this day I would enjoy with friends and family up close and personal. I would also be making multiple trips to keep the imbibers happy with the ice and soft drinks. We had a hole-in-one made at number 5.
The Miami Dolphins made it official early by signing Chris Long to a long term deal before the start of Saturday's draft. I personally don't get as geeked up about the draft weekend as the rest of the world does. To me it is nothing more than a game of Russian Roulette.
