Anaheim Recoiled.
Happy Hump Day everyone.
North Texas braces itself for one final push of summer with another chance at topping 100 degrees for the 71st time Thursday before a cold front shoots through early Friday morning. Not that Ill mind. Curious to see what running in cooler weather shall feel like in the range of 2.5-3.0 miles.
Congratulations to Dallas Cowboy Sean Lee. The first Cowboy player ever to win Defensive Player Of The Month for September. I knew in camp this kid was special. Great work ethic and learned from the best in Joe Paterno prior to going pro. I forsee great things for Sean Lee as his career progresses under Rob Ryan's system.
With the Rangers rounding out their regular season tonight, I am reminded that it was on this day in 1973 that Nolan Ryan set the standard for strikeout excellence in a season with 383 as an Angel. It was against the Minnesota Twins he performed this feat and his victim was Rich Reese.
Still waiting to see who the Rangers will face off against beginning Friday. Boston or Tampa Bay? Or is a flight to New York in the itinerary should they lose and Detroit can close out the Indians? Will we see playoff for a wild card spot baseball on Thursday? Never a dull moment as we near October a second season begins. I'll be watching as I'm sure you will too.
David Stern threatens to cancel the whole season if there are no talks? Well, duh. Think of the money you'll save. I called this back in June. It will just take a little while longer before we raise that championship banner in Dallas is all...
Be safe and have a great day!
Over and out in Big D.
Mr. Will
