Prior to the game the Hunt brothers provided Landon Donovan with a touching video tribute for his service to the game of soccer for the last two decades. Cowboy boot and a ten gallon hat among the many gifts Landon received. Donovan will be retiring after the 2014 season. L.A. and the Seattle Sounders will be facing off against each other the next two weeks for Supporters Shield superiority.
Russell Wilson completed 14 passes on 28 attempts with an interception. Tony Romo was 21 for 32 for 250 yards and two touchdowns as he capped off a 75 yard drive with a 3rd and 20 conversion to Terrence Williams and DeMarco Murray ambling 15 yards to erase a 23-20 deficit in the 4th quarter.
For the record the All-Christian Showdown with Baylor and TCU played an epic classic for four and a half hours on October 11. The game of the week and perhaps one of the greatest games of all time collegiate wise.
All week long it was my humble opinion that the Horned Frogs of Texas could and should be able to handle their business to extend a winning streak to five straight.
