Line Them Up! Week 6 NFL Picks!

Fresh from a road trip to Waco wondering why we'll never see 100 point games in the NFL unlike in college. You better believe that if two coaches can guarantee a 100 point effort in a game no one is going to care how long a football game happens to be.

For the record the All-Christian Showdown with Baylor and TCU played an epic classic for four and a half hours on October 11. The game of the week and perhaps one of the greatest games of all time collegiate wise.

We also had an outstanding turnout of Red Rivalry Revelry in Dallas for an 11am game. Texas, you are on the right track and I stand behind Charlie Strong with his approach to being accountable as a Longhorn.

On to the NFL. Yours truly had his best week in 2014. 13-2 straight up (51-25 YTD) and 11-4 against the spread (44-32 YTD). When ther season began I vowed that 62-65% would make me happy. So far so good.

One can never get comfortable. Especially when there's a Ryan Fitzgerald trying to impersonate a quarterback in the NFL after his defense allows 24 points. Can we make JJ Watt a quarterback?

Kudos to the Colts for an impressive Thursday night win and FINALLY a competitive Thursday night game in the NFL.

Some interesting matchups Week 6 in the NFL. One theory that usually holds true: When a team can knockout 40 points it's a sign that the offense is clicking on all cylinders. There is one lock of the Week that screams victory.

Actually two. Teddy Bridgewater starts for my Vikings who will deal with a reeling Lions team. The Cowboys went silent count last week for a win. Why not play keep away and do it again in Seattle?

I believe that they can win. Just like TCU was supposed to.

This week in the NFL (0-1 with the Texans loss) I like: Dallas (+9) as the game of the week for a possible upset, Minnesota (-1), Denver (-10), New England (-3), Tampa Bay (+3.5), Carolina (+7), Jacksonville for the upset of the week (+4), Cleveland (-1), Miami (+2.5), San Diego (-7), Chicago (+3), Arizona (-3.5), Giants (+3) Sunday night and San Francisco (-3) on Monday night.

9-5 or 10-4 is the goal. Anything else would be simply acceptable. Happy watching and betting. Only bet what you can afford. You need not bet every game. Rather, allow me to worry about that small stuff.

Over and out in Big D.

    Mr. Will
