    Watching A Winning Team!

    Gee, I guess I told you so! For all the hype, for all the bluster, for all the wishing upon a star, and for the smoke that the media tried to blow up my proverbial ass, my gut instincts were correct. While the vocal majority made their way to Irving to watch an NFC East showdown, the silent minority got to enjoy a thriller at the AAC. It was a peaceful quiet ride on the I-30 going east.     Tough Luck Philly style!

    I'm not sure what is ailing Philly fans more. The fact that your Eagles pulled a Notre Dame and had a 52 yard score with 34 seconds left only to lose to an ex-Cowboy on a 62 yard field goal as time ran out. Did anyone notice Cowboy radio guy Brad Sham was the play-by-play guy in the booth. Conspiracy I tell you!

    Do The Carlton Dance?

    31 years ago today one of the most exciting World Series' would end as the Reds would hold off the Red Sox 4-3 in a thrilling Game seven. Red Sox fans of course felt the same way 24 hours earlier when Bernie Carbo hit a three run pinch hit homer, and Carlton Fisk hits a pole shot in inning 12 for a 7-6 win. Game six actually ended 34 minutes into this day in 1975.
