    Article Excerpt:
31 years ago today one of the most exciting World Series' would end as the Reds would hold off the Red Sox 4-3 in a thrilling Game seven. Red Sox fans of course felt the same way 24 hours earlier when Bernie Carbo hit a three run pinch hit homer, and Carlton Fisk hits a pole shot in inning 12 for a 7-6 win. Game six actually ended 34 minutes into this day in 1975.
