    My First Victory Parade.

Hello and Happy Thursday to you!

Not sure if it was the Full Moon, or this so-called 'Lunar Eclipse' that has been discussed and bandied about but I didn't need an alarm clock to awaken this morning. I just could not sleep. Call it a case of severe Alpha to take me through this day. And quite the day it is going to be. Ten O'Clock is going to arrive incredibly early!

After leaving work late last night I got a phone call from a friend. 'I can't make today's parade. You want to use my two tickets?' Duh, Yes! 'Okay, swing by and they're yours!' And just like that I was given a nice hook-up for what will undoubtedly be a very memorable day in Dallas Texas and across the U.S. as the feeds go all over.

The irony of this date is that exactly one year ago I attended a Grand Opening of a restaurant in Dallas called J Blacks. It also happened that the person I met there will be the same gal who will be there with me on this day.

She goes by many names, like Madame X and Texas 6, but to me she is just Katherine. One year ago Miss Katherine was kind enough to invite Yours Truly to a Cowboys function that was up close and personal. Now Mr. Will gets the chance to do the very same in basketball mode.

On the eve of another sport about to go lockout mode, this is one moment I wish to hang to forever in time...

Yes, there will be pictures, and yes the season-ticket holder presser post-parade will also be interesting.

I look forward to all of it and to those of you long suffering fans from 1980 and prior with the Chaparrals: This is your moment! Enjoy the day! Show the world how Dallas does it! Show class baby!

Denied in Seattle and Anaheim when there, not the case anymore in Dallas, Texas. Oh, Happy Day!

Bring lots of water. Supposed to top 97 under the sun.

Over and out in Big D.

    Mr. Will
