    Time for a New Streak

Happy Saturday friends. Like anything else in life, all good things must come to an end. Going to back to the middle of July 2008, I had been to every Texas Ranger home game. Because of a scheduling oversight on my part, I will not be at Rangers Ballpark tonight. In my absence I hope the Rangers prepare for another rump whipping and a strong performance by Brandon McCarthy.

The final finishing touched are being put in place as the new Cowboys Stadium is now 168 hours away from being open for it's first event. A country performance by George Strait and Reba McEntire. An estimated 60,000-70,000 are expected to attend. We will learn alot about just how well traffic will filter out of Arlington proper and the I30.

The NBA Finals are about to come to pass. I will be very content to watch the Magic battle the Lakers. I believe that Orlando, Dwight Howard, Courtney Lee, and company will match up well with the tandem of Kobe, Andrew, Luke, and Pao. A week away from coming to pass, but I foresee this series being the NBA Final.

The Stanley Cup Finals also commence this day in Motown. A rematch from 2008. The first rematch since 1984. Most fans expect the Red Wings to make it an easy title in 5. I hope to see a seven game series. A part of me roots for the Pens if only for the ex-Stars in Bill Guerin and Phillippe Boucher. To a great series. It goes without saying just so how men like Franzen, Datsyuk, Kronwall, Cleary, and company play.

    Off to work!

Over and out in Big D
