No Stop in the Rocky Top!
Happy Tuesday everyone! I begin with a realization...
No matter how hard I try, I am aware that there's no way I can cover multiple topics per login here at M.O.N. Time won't allow and in most cases I would only be stating the obvious. No need to do that. With that said, I want to once again thank TNT for another 9pm start in Dallas for the start of Game 4 of the Mavs-Nuggets series. I didn't think Dallas had a snowballs chance in hell to win last night, but win they did 118-117. 44 points for Dirk Nowitzki and 41 for Carmelo in a losing effort. Once again the refs decide to get all ticky-tack with the calls in the second half of the game. I was pleasantly surprised to see Josh and Brandon finally get physical in a game the Mavericks needed to win. Wednesday night should be the end of the 2008-2009 season for Dallas.

An argument can be made that this series should be tied at 2-all. I contend the Nuggets gave this game away. A game that ends at almost midnight and I get to be the lucky one with one table who decides to stay all the way to the end. No one was saying anything until there was 3 minutes left in the game. Then the bandwagon mentality returned to the bar. Congratulations to the Dallas Mavericks for living another day and to force a Game 5 Wednesday night in Denver. You can expect a rabid angry crowd to see the Nuggets close things out.
First place Rangers back in town for six. I will be there. Camera in tow twice.
Make it a great day!
Over and out in Big D

PS early this morning on his blog, Mark Cuban apologized to Kenyon Martin and his Mom for comments made after Saturday's game in a fit of anger and frustration.
