From JAN to AA to J.A.

Good day my friend! This month just FLEW by! Just like a clutch goal with under a minute left in OT, oh yeah, that was last night!

The Dallas Stars are beginning to remind me of a good AA meeting. They keep coming back because they're worth it when they work it. Once again they fall behind and are able to crank it up a notch as regulation is about to end.

Jason Arnott with a winner against the always tough Sharks. Note how the division that Dallas plays in has each team over .500... It doesn't get any easier with Nashville in town on Wednesday. First of two visits in Dallas in a week. GO STARS!

If this is goodbye for Brett Favre, this Viking fan will miss his gritty tenaciousness, his long streak of starts, and of course his memorable run in 1996 when he did no wrong. What Joe Montana was to the 80's I dare say Brett (along with Troy) was the QB of the 90's. I do foresee him coaching at some level. Leaving the game completely is never an option...

With Media Day going on in Motown this day, my guess is that the two most quotable guys will be Joey Porter and Shawn Alexander. Frankly, I wish there wasn't a two week gap. Reminds me of a Christmas Pigskin of commercialism except Santa is nowhere to be found. The game is actually secondary to the commercials, endless hype, and of course blathering squawk pundits repeating the same mantra over and over...I like underdogs-GO SEATTLE!

Make it a great day. See you in Las Colinas!

Over and out in Big D
