Dear fans,

For twenty years, I was privileged to have spent my life on the West Coast. Southern California and northwest Washington state. Often I have stated that if you love scenery, the drive on the 101 (PCH) northward toward Monterey and further north is truly awesome!

My personal loves include the Oregon area of Lincoln City/Newport. It has been 15 years since enjoying Northern California, and 13 years since leaving Cali as a married man. I wish to give a hearty 'Thank You' to David Pencille for these great photos of Northern California. When in Monterey/Carmel, be sure to take the 17 Mile drive. It is the utmost! California dreaming on a cloudy winter's day...

... the sunsets aren't too bad either!

My last recollection of being in the Northwest was Valentines Day 2001. I witnessed one of the most memorable sunsets of my life.
