    Awaiting the Artestimony!

Happy Friday my friends. Worry not about the drill, it isn't going away. It is merely on hiatus until the holidays or the new year arrives or both. Making the most of the lovely weather in North Texas, so I will keep this short and sweet as I prepare for a leisurely walk around Arlington...

Great to see the Mavericks get to 6-2, but man, watching them win is downright ugly! Josh Howard had a solid start, I'm still unsure about Erik Dampier, and Dirk can only go so far. Winning by only 9 points against an 0-7 Hawk team?

Regardless, Saturday night when they host Detroit, it will mark the one year anniversary fiasco of Ron Artest. Wondering what kind of news title would fly. How about,'Time for an ARTESTimonial?' or maybe 'From the Malice at the Palace to the friendly confines of Dallas in one year!' This much I will guarantee. Mark Cuban will not do anything in poor taste as the Maloof brothers did on the Pistons three weeks ago! Detroit is undefeated and doing it with 'O'. As Everett Heidi once said, 'Baby, it's all about the O!' Ooh baby!

Back to the AAC for a Stars-Blue Jackets matchup, replete with newest add Sergei Federov. The Ducks clear up cap room in the process. Dallas only 5-4 at home as opposed to 7-2 on the road. Camera at the ready and expecting big things from the second line. Trevor Daley too for that matter. Jason Arnott slowly making believers of the unconvinced...

Do I believe that the Bengals can defeat the Colts? No! I'll leave that to the Steelers. Will the Cowboys be ready for Detroit? Yes, but again it will be done in dramatic fashion. Keep your eye on La Roi Glover with the big play I predict. I also believe we are seeing a Joey Galloway the Cowboys wish they saw...

Yes, it really was 20 years ago Joe Theisman broke his leg on national TV, 28 years ago this weekend Walter Payton set a rushing record, and 27 years ago this weekend that Black Sunday occurred at the Meadowlands. Gee, guess who's visiting? Philly! Sometimes history does repeat!

    Have a great weekend!

    SEE YOU IN LAS COLINAS!

Over and out in Big D
