    Of Toys and Noise...

About 12 noon I noticed the tenor of the crowd began to change. It was then I decided to drive to Grand Prairie and take in the motorcycle parade from a distance. In trying to imagine what thousands of motorcycles look like converging in Grand Prairie from Ft. Worth and Dallas. Oh wow! A roar of engines and horns for over 25 minutes. Try standing in front of that for a moment. What a rush!

On a day when the Houston Texans celebrate their first playoff appearance in their history (Anyone miss Wade Phillips now?) Rob Ryan's defense got torched for over 500 yards! A 12 point lead with 5:41 left in a game with playoff implications vanished as Eli Manning, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Hakeem Nicks gave fits to the secondary. For a game of such importance there quite a few mea culpas on the defensive side of the ball. That Pierre-Paul gent for the G-men I had not seen nor heard of prior to last night. His last second block of a field goal as the game ended was exciting.
