    One Week Before...

    Happy Sunday Y'all!

Twas the week before Christmas, and all through the city. Dreams of a playoff berth and a banner unveiling rang aloud, and it was oh so pretty...

This is what any Dallas natives are now contemplating as Cowboys fans rejoice from a very convincing victory over the Bucs in Tampa Bay by a 31-15 count. One topic that must be addressed: Tony Romo since the Buffalo game, has been near perfection as much as you could ask for. The touchdown to interception ratio has completely diminished to the passers favor and in Romo's rating.

I wondered aloud if the loss of DeMarco Murray would hurt the Cowboy chances of having success on the ground. Well, Sammy Morris quickly erased all doubts with 20 quality carries and 53 yards. Yes, I know the Cowboys have won all their games against teams with losing records. However, you now insure the final two games will have playoff meaning win or lose. Worst case scenario: The Giants, Cowboys, and Eagles all finish 8-8. It's a very distinct possibility now.

That game at 3:15 on Christmas Eve is anything but a guarantee for the Cowboys. Especially if Michael Vick is healthy. Having been at Texas Stadium on Christmas Day 2006 and again 12/16th 2007 when it was Tony and Jessica I recall how tough things got for the Cowboys to close out on Philadelphia.

Today I will be double dipping with the Big Texas Toy Run and some Maverick basketball afterwards with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Looking forward to seeing the arrival of this guy! I did not have time to look at any football lines, so I now resort to Plan B. I will take the favorite in each game and take my chances.

Thankfully I am off to a 2-0 start courtesy of two teams from the South and Southwest. With my luck this will be a weekend where I get my ass kicked royally. I deserve it for not doing my homework. Damn holidays and all...

I do think the Colts will win their first game of the season. This is my lone exception to the rule.

Lots of bikes and toys...lots of camera shots. Off and running.

    Make it a great day!

Over and out in Big D.

    Mr. Will
