    All In The Numbers.

Hello and Happy Super Bowl Sunday everyone.

By now many of you have your man cave all set and ready to escape for the day, be left alone, enjoy this final day of football as you know it. At one point you didn't think there would be a football season yet it came to be with nary an exhibition game cancelled. History will be made today one way or the other.

Before I continue I am very excited to announce that as of yesterday I now have a show of my very own that will be called 'Hanging with Mr. Will'. A podcast that will contain subject matter of the sporty variety with an occasional diversion into things trendy, topical, or practical. With an assist from Cedric Bailey as of yesterday I am a Podcast Virgin no more! As I get more and more comfortable in the ways and means of doing good work with podcasts the length of shows shall increase. I certainly look forward to this!

Cold front shot through North Texas which made for cooler temperatures all weekend long. We barely got to 45 today. I actually plan on staying glued to the television set and watching hours of NFL football. It's been a while since I have been so pigskin friendly.

How ironic the date today is. 2-5...as in number of Super Bowl trophies for Bill Parcells and Charles Haley despite getting a double snub! Also the number of appearances in the Super Bowl for Eli (2) and Tom (5). It's also a 78th birthday for Hank Aaron. Ironically the Hammer played his minor league ball in Indiana prior to 1954.

A couple of reasons I like the Giants today. 1. Patriots did not win 2 weeks ago, Baltimore lost. 2. Tougher defenders. 3.Eli is clutch! 4. Eli with a 6-1 record on the road. 5. The 2-Headed Monster I call Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. 6.New York is playing like a team possessed. 7.The Manning factor inside the House of Peyton. 8. Coughlin gets through to his players. 9.That pitiful Patriot defense and 10.Vince Woolfork will not be a factor! I'm also told that Saturday night Tom Coughlin really let his Giants players have it!

The receiver corp of Cruz, Manningham, and Hicks will give the New England secondary fits. Giants 24-23 on this day. Eli Manning will surpass Big Brother and New York will celebrate heartily.

If you're at a watch party be safe but have fun. Designate a driver if need be please!

    Happy Pigskin viewing!

Over and out in Big D.

    Mr. Will
