The Eagle Crash Landed. Did It Matter?

Merry Christmas and Happy Sunday everyone!

I hope that by now you are surrounding the Christmas tree with friends and family with the presents given to you by Santa Claus. I also hope you are surrounded by cold and snow. If not, may the music be blaring and food a plentiful...

I am about ready to start a campaign for the fans of the NFL who dare to deal with the elements, parking, and learning that you attended a game that didn't mean a damn thing. That is, once the Giants game was over and done nothing the Cowboys did would change the outcome of what could only get solved next week in New Jersey. Paying full price for a gsme that meant nothing with many starters not starting...

I credit the Eagles for once again, despite being eliminated, came to play and stuck it to the Dallas Cowboys.

For 59 and a half minutes, this game was all Philadelphia enjoying a 20-0 shutout. A blocked punt allowed for a Miles Austin touchdown with seven ticks of the clock left.

Tony Romo taken out of the game after his 2ns set of downs with a severely bruised hand after hitting a helmet early. Michael Vick was giving the Dallas secondary fits all day.

I'm sorry but the Cowboys at 8-7 have another pitiful month of December! 1-3 and 19-30 since 2000! That's 39%! You call this 'America's Team?' Not in December!

The crowd was quiet and subdued. I want to thank Michael Buban for a great pair of tickets to watch this great rivalry. Next time someone tells me, 'Yeah dude, if you get tickets for a game, call!' I did, and none of you responded. When you know better, you do better. I enjoyed the experience in Arlington.

Also had a chance to swing by the AAC before driving to Arlington. Rick Carlisle very excited about starting the NBA season. His biggest fear is experiencing a letdown after the Championship Banner is raised at 1pm today. I will be there. Looking forward to seeing how well Dwyane and Lebron continue to jell as a duo

Mavericks and Heat. 5 NBA basketball games to start today with a visit from David Stern. Way cool! I'm getting excited now. How will the Mavericks thrive in the absence of Tyson, JJ, Caron, Corby, and Rudy?

Not that the choices were difficult, but a weekend of going 13-2 against the spread with the Saints game Monday night! Yes! 139-91-10 for the season. I'll take it!

    Merry Christmas everyone.

Over and out in Big D.

    Mr. Will
