    Awakening to Goose Bumps.

Upon awakening to answer to the laundry bell, it was nice to actually watch goose bumps form on my hands and arms. It was a cool 67 degrees at 7 am. Soon to jump to 95 today and for the rest of the week. There is something special about this time of the year. I noticed it in the New England area, I also noticed as I was watching baseball this weekend. The length of the shadows around the pitching mound and in the outfield. Even the sky has more of an orange tinge to it. This means playoff atmospheric conditions will be ripe! I'll say it one final time. Give me the Cubs Red Sox! Hell I'll even accept the Cubs-Indians. There's 159 years of a championship drought right there!

This Cowboy team is going to impress offensively. This despite the 11 penalties the offense got nailed for. The 2007 Cowboys remind me alot of the 1980 Raiders. Romo as Plunkett. T.O. as Cliff Branch. Jason Witten as Bob Chandler. Marcus Spears as Dan Browning. MB3 as Kenny King! Remember I told you so! Nice 2-0 start...this from a non-fan! They look good...

Katrina is now two years removed from memory. The Saints rode that train last year and got great results. I'm not sure what they are playing for this year. I foresee an uphill battle with little chance of success. Based on what I have seen, it's not happening.

Feeling a little sympathy for the fans of the Giants, Jets, and Bills. All 0-2 and all in dire straits...Hmm...Could it be that Bills stands for Boy I Love Losing Super and Jets stands for Just End The Season and Giants stands for Getting Into Another Non Title Season? Thanks You! I'll be here all week :)

Great to have hockey back on the slate. Curious to see how my Stars look in preseason. This week they'll entertain the Blues and Avalanche. I will be there! October 5th will be here soon enough.

Have a great Monday. Time to finish up on laundry!

Over and out in Big D
