    Walter and Kirby Stand Together.

Kirby Puckett, R.I.P. You. sir were an amazing ambassador to the game of baseball. Your enthusiasm and love of the game was surpassed only by Ernie Banks. I was saddest when you took a beaning to the face by Dennis Martinez.

I became sadder still when you were diagnosed with glaucoma. I didn't believe all the crap and invective thrown at you in 1999 when Sports Illustrated wanted to suggest that you led a double life. I know Ric Flair grew up in your great state for which you represented. There was no being the man because you, Kirby Puckett were the man and will always be the man! Thanks for the memories...

Walter Cronkite gave his last broadcast this day in 1981, a Friday. Do you recall? 'And that's the way it was...'

Last time the Mavs dropped two of three was way back on 12/01/05. Temporary lull. Dallas will snap out of it.

The Stars just need to keep on winning to ensure a #1 seed in the Western conference. I have the hope that they can...and will!

As the days pass, you can expect surprises of many sorts upcoming on this website. After five years of putzing along, the Master will now become part of a level playing field. I am very excited at the new dimensions Lydell Vick shall add...You have been forewarned. The look will tighten up while yours truly will refuse to lighten up.

USA and Mexico will mix it up starting tomorrow...I look forward to it.

Over and out in Big D

    Mr Will
