The Ides Have It!

Happy Ides of March to one and all! On what will become the hottest day of the young 2006 year, I found myself being an insomniac, awakened at the hour of 4. When you ingest a Starbucks before sunup and go for a 2 mile walk, it's amazing what you might come across...

I have spoken about this at length in the past. In the next week to 10 days, this website is going to get the makeover of makeovers. April 6th will mark 5 years that I have ranted, raved, joked, pontificated, photographed, and the like. It's about time I get up to speed on all categories. This is going to be fun! I owe it all to Norm Gregory...

Right across the street from me the smell of wood chips are fresh, trees are being mown down, land is getting leveled and planed, new trees are being planted, and the noise factor is evident.

One year ago today a Walmart was being built. That which I just described is with regards to the Cowboys future home in 2009. I will put up pictures before this week is up. What was a bunch of houses are now stumps and branches...

Over at Ameriquest there is also some reconstructing going on. Judging by the amount of cement and bricks I see, my guess is that there will be a few statues or locales for shade on those hot 100 degree days in June. Off in the distance you can see and hear the shouts of excited employees awaiting the start of 2006. I counted 12 grounds crew folk...Individual tickets for the Rangers go on sale March 3rd.

Spring is almost here. Today we flirt with 90. YES!
