Adding to the Legacy.

Wednesday Night the Dallas Stars completed a four game homestand with a convincing 4-1 victory over the St Louis Blues. When these teams met last year on 12/29th, there were four fights in the first period alone. The fisticuffs were not an issue until a minute was left in regulation. Goals were made by Eric Lindros (twice), Jussi Jokinen, and Mike Modano.

Modano's goal was #493, placing him in a tie with Teemu Selanne amongst American scorers. The goal also placed Mikey Mo in the 700 point category. A nice career when it's all said and done.

Keith Tkachuk scored the Blues lone goal 76 seconds into the game on a 5 on 3. For once I can say that victory was GUERINteed...Prior to tip off Bill Guerin was given a warm ovation and Bill was being rather chatty amongst many ex-teammates like Mike Modano and Brendan Morrow. He looks good in white blue and gold...

Dallas improves to 5-1 at home, equal to 5-1 on the road as they now prepare for a Canadian road trip that will first take take them to Edmonton, a team that is 6-0 at home in 2006. Next home game will be on the 15th against the Islanders of New York. I will be there!
