Stars Remain Aligned.
On a night better suited for staying home by the fireplace, the Dallas Stars continued their winning ways in the NHL and against the East with another improbable come-from-behind victory over the Florida Panthers 4-3.
Jere Lehtinen would score the first and last of Dallas' goals, the latter with 15.8 seconds left in regulation. Dallas would jump to an early 3-0 lead after one period. Florida would storm back and tie it at 3 after 2, one goal made by ex-Star Joe Nieuwendyk.
The Stars are now a healthy 12-2 since the start of November, alone in first by 2 points and have three games in hand over the Kings. A six game road trip shall commence with stop #1 being the Maple Leafs in Toronto this Saturday. The Stars will reach Canada with an 18-7-1 record...
Over and out in Big D.
