Reunion on Frisco Ice.

It was on this night I attended a hockey match on the high school level in Frisco. One year ago I got to call and cover Highland Park hockey all season with the late Niel Amy. An 18-5-1 second place finish in state is what transpired.

That was some of the most memorable fun I had on the high school level. Michael Raggio and company were a joy and coach Kostopoulos were great to cover and interview.

The 2005-2006 campaign has been a time for retooling and rebuilding with a bunch of juniors and seniors slowly jelling. The Scots (1-8-1) battled the First Place (9-1) Eagles of Allen. After 30 minutes Allen had a convincing 3-0 lead on Highland Park.

Leading the Scots this year are Noah Comisar and Trent Hubbard along with some girl power-Alex and McCall Benda! Good to see high school hockey after 11 months! Next opponent for Highland Park will be rival Mansfield in Duncanville...Check the photo section for more pics!
