    Thanks To The Vets!

230 years ago today an institution was born that still thrives today. The birth of the Marines! This Veteran's Day the Master sends out a little praise and hope to those who served and a thank you to those who served and met their maker with the hope of making my life and the lives around me a little better.

I received an email from an old coworker down North Carolina way. A person is lucky when you get to meet people who make a difference in your life for the better. This young man is going places and yes, Branden I will let the staff know that you say 'Yo and Hello!' Biggest Tar Heel fan you'll ever meet and that's a good thing. God speed brother Branden.

Chris Carpenter deserved the Cy Young. Had Roger Clemens gotten more run support he would have won another. Starting to think there might be some kind of religious tie to the Cy Young winners. An Angel and a Cardinal win respectively. Can a Padre be far behind? Wondering if Manny Ramirez will be the next MVP to be traded by a team the year after ahe wins the crown?

Saw most of the Stars-Predators game. Nashville appears tough at home but I must say the refs sure acted like homers trying to get a commission. Too many hooking calls for my liking. Steve Sullivan had a crafty hat trick night for the Predators. Two in a row at Anaheim for Dallas.

Looks like I'm Fort Worth bound for a little Brahmas hockey. They play a home game. I always enjoy the ride to Ft Worth. The city is as down to earth as the people! Yes more pics en route. Especially now that I upgraded to a 256 MB memory card. LOOK OUT!

Make it a good Veteran's Day!

    SEE YOU IN LAS COLINAS!

Over and out in Big D
