Diamonds End...
This day was spent in the splendor of an 86 degree day at the Ballpark watching baseball for the last time in 2008. Last year the Rangers put a 19 spot on the Angels. Today it would be an 8 spot in the 6th inning that would propel them to a 14-4 victory over the Oakland A's.

The Change of Seasons.
Today marked the first full official day of autumn. This is without a doubt my favorite time of year. Fall sports are about to kick into high gear. The heat of the south gives way to more India summer like temps, cool breezes at night take the place of the A/C which give the utilitiy folks less billing power.
