    Truly A Team Effort!

    Questions about the bench of the Mavericks were answered when DeSean Stephenson (of all people) got the crowd fired up by hitting a trio of three's off the bench. Dirk Nowitzki sort of called out Jason Terry prior to Game 4. Suffice to say the Jet answered loudly with seven first half points.

    D Day and Heat Seeking Relief.

    With over 80,000 fans expected to go attend the Gold Cup in Arlington and another 20,000 or so fans headed to the AAC for the fourth weekend in a row the eyes of the nation were on North Texas. This will be the case again when racing returns to Texas Motor Speedway on June 11th.

    The Magical Mystery of Three!

    This will mark the third straight playoff round I attended Game 3. Tonight's matchup important in that (as has been reported ad-infinitum elsewhere) since 1985 the team that wins Game 3 in a 1-all series goes on to win the NBA Title 11 for 11 times. May tonight not prove to be a dirty dozen for the Dallas Mavericks.

    For Mom and For Dad.

    Friday in studio we had spoken with Gabe Gabor on the amount of excitement and competition we can expect this week as Cuba, Mexico, El Salvador, and Costa Rica will battle this day in Arlington. The DFW SportsAngel was speaking about how her family grew up on soccer and her reasons to play the game as a youngster...to overcome shyness. This got me to thinking...
