    Watch the Freak Flag Fly.

    We had some scary hijinks almost come at us on our very first walk around the neighborhood. Not even a quarter mile in I see a funny looking animal with a white stripe on it's back. Yep, a skunk! I recalled what happens if you get too close to one. They'll let out a rancid odor when they raise their tail that will leave you gasping for air. This happens if Pepe LePew feels threatened in any way shape or form.

    Journalism's Top Gun...

    Tim Russert, native son to Buffalo, NY and a fixture in the NBC bureau in Washington DC, had a massive heart attack and passed away. He was 58 years young. I watched him periodically on 'Meet The Press'. His style could infuriate but Tim always got the answers he wanted. He will be sorely missed. Funeral arrangements are pending.

    Defending Milton. 

    Ron Washington made this abundantly clear last week in a Q and A session for season ticket holders. Wash and Milton Bradley have history together in Oakland. You will never hear a teammate blast Milt about his demeanor in the locker room. In fact, if it weren't for Josh Hamilton, we would talking alot more about how well Milton Bradley has done in the four spot.

    Fun Pairings for the Cameras.

    To those fans of the NBA who were hoping for a Los Angeles-Boston matchup, I say be careful what you wish for. The Nielsen numbers have not been favorable. Through the first three games ABC has been able to only garner an 8.8 share, as in the number of homes watching the game, each number refers to the millions of television sets that are tuned to the game.

    Fallen Workers in Arlington.

    If this was a way to avert more serious injury, suffice to say that the overall safety record at the site of the Cowboys has been outstanding. Initially it was reported that a crane had broken loose. That was reported in error.
