    Orton Hears A Skidoo!

    At this point it would be very prudent to suggest that Tony Romo would see any action for snaps or live action prior to the regular season. If Romo sees any action at all it would be on August 23rd when Dallas plays their next to last game of the exhibition for the first half before Brandon Weeden takes the lions share of snaps the rest of the way.

    Out Of The Cellar!

    If there wasn't a Cuban sensation named Jose Abreu getting all the glory as a rookie with the Chicago White Sox (29 HRs 73 RBIs) all the talk in the majors would about center fielder George Springer with his 19 homers and 50 RBIs. Winning has become a given when Springer goes deep. The Astros are 13-5 when George does exactly that.

    The Revolution By Night!

    FCDallas would strike two more times in the 89th and 90th minutes when Fabian Castillo was able to deke goalie Gooswin out of the net, allowing Mauro Diaz to make an unobstructed shot. Castillo then gave Blas Perez the hattie in minute 90 as Blas would connect on the far end of the goal for a 5-2 final score.

    Bottoming Out!

    This night I saw a little body language that said to me this season is a lost cause for the Texas Rangers and Ron Washington. Calls for Wash to get the ax will now start to gather steam due to the precipitous fall suffered since middle June when the Rangers were only 7 games back. In the space of 22 days the Rangers have fallen 12 games in the standings and are on a 3-17 run.
