    In Defense Of A Legacy!

    Roberto Clemente without a doubt was a catalyst for Hispanic ballplayers in much the same way Jackie Robinson opened the door for blacks on 4/15/47 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. You will hear many a plaudit for names like Willie Mays, Henry Aaron, Babe Ruth, even a Ty Cobb. Clemente is high on the list.

    Never Track Time For No Timetable!

    I question not the toughness of Jason Witten. I merely fear for his well-being and would not want to see a player rushed into action where a little rest can assure a better map to recovery and success on the gridiron. It's no fun to aggravate an injury in a rush to return to play.

    Curse Of A Different Era!

    Ray Chapman was one of the most liked ballplayers in baseball as an Indian. He had a tendency to crowd the plate and crouch like Rickey Henderson. Getting a strike on him wasn't easy. Carl Mays was known for having a spitball in his attire (the pitch would become outlawed later in the year) in addition to a submarine delivery that could freeze a batter.
