    What the Eyes See and The Body Feels.

    Things sure have changed since I was last at the '300' Bowl in 2007. At what point did bowling alleys become an A.D.D. haven for videos and blaring music? Focusing on the pins is tough enough! Be that as it may, I grabbed a 16 pound ball and began start tossing.

    Word to the wise. If you're going to attend a concert at House Of Blues here in Dallas, be sure to have a strong pair a ear plugs to save your hearing. The acoustics are a bitch without them as the percussion alone is enough to make you think you have an irregular heartbeat.

    The New Era begins!

    North Texas continues to set records for warm weather as we top 100 for the 14th consecutive day with many more to come. You will people talk about the feasibility of suffering through a game with family and not being able to enjoy due to the heat. However, it is amazing to see what ills are cured when winning becomes a daily occurrence.

    Summer Fever All Around.

    With the Yankees in town for a 2 game set and a return visit next month, the locals are curious as to how the Rangers match up to the defending World Champions. That remains to be seen yet I am confident when saying that the atmosphere will be as electric as it was in 2008 when New York was in town and also in August in 2004 where for 2 nights, fall-like weather made it feel as if October came early.

    August just happens to feature a Friday the 13th. The perfect segway to give a little kudos to a man that I owe more than I could ever repay. More thanks than I could ever give. More respect than I could ever ask for. Someone who stood by me when I was at my lowest and unhappy.
