    I have known David Michaels Muehlenthal close to four years. His on-air friend Mike Young closer to one.     Cliff-Hanging By A Thread.

    I can read people. I can read body language. Castigate me post-season if you want but from where I sit, I sense I am watching a pitcher who is pouting and unhappy in his current state.     I kept thinking back to that day in April 1923 when another jewel Yankee Stadium was opened up for the fans. Babe Ruth cracked a homer in a 4-1 victory over the Red Sox. Yankee Stadium was dubbed 'The House that Ruth Built.' Babe Ruth wore the #3.

    The List...

    Frank Gifford and wife Kathie Lee aged 80 and 57. Ditto for the material girl Madonna. She now turns 51. Hence in 2011 Madonna will be like a deck of cards. She will have to be 'dealt' with. It has been reported erroneously that Sean Penn also shared this birthdate. I have since learned that his date of birth was August 17th. Actor Steve Carell also born this date 48 years ago.

    No Ordinary Moments.

    A funny thing happened on the way to the air-conditioned locale of where we were to sit and watch. My phone began to buzz. Call after call after call. That was rare. I answered all calls as quickly and politely as possible. My mind was really on baseball...or so I thought.
