    High On Heat-Low On Energy!

    Despite a two game skid once the whole team returns to full health you can expect better fates as we get into the hotter months here in North Texas. For now let’s hope for at least a draw in the next week before Chivas USA makes its return back to Frisco. One can only hope that Clint Dempsey and Kenny Cooper have an off night May 7th inside the loudness they call CenturyLink Field.

    Motoring Into May!

    Despite 23 whiffs in his first 61 at bats Bo Porter is keeping George Springer in the cleanup spot for now. On the heels of the 11 inning win on May 2nd May 3rd also provided some excitement. Unfortunately where there’s (Justin) Smoak there’s fire as Seattle would push across eight runs off Dallas Keuchel and the bullpen in the 7th to allow the Mariners a 9-8 win. Smoak’s two run blast was the difference maker.

    The answer came when March arrived. One source of pride for Dallas all season was the wonderful mix of youth and energy the bench would provide. Beginning with Vince Carter, Shawn Marion, Devin Harris, Jae Crowder, Gal Mekel, Shane Larkin, and Brandan Wright.

    Who Needs Superman? We Got Game 7!

    There goes a shrewd businessman and owner. Mark Cuban and Rick Carlisle knew when they were doing. Let's start with a dominant performance by DeJuan Blair. He of the ejected status in Game 5. Simply a beast with a double-double. Ten points and 14 rebounds in 29 minutes of play as Dallas' bench outscored the Spurs 37-25.

    Fatherhood Father Time And Game 6 Fodder!

    While Dirk and Vince combined for 54 points with their prowess it was San Antonio who had the biggest advantage when converting from the paint. Spurs won that battle 54-28. Rebounds were even at 47 each and even in defeat the Mavericks kept their turnover count to 8. Even second chance points were even at 18 apiece. A moral victory if you will when on the road.
