I'm willing to bet there were quite a few fans of the Silver and Blue who were thinking back to that fateful day when the Texas Rangers were 1 strike-ONE STRIKE AWAY-twice from winning a world championship in Game 6 of the World Series in Missouri.
Kenny Hill was 16-22-1 passing for 265 yards with two touchdowns in addition to two carries for 58 yards. Kyle Allen went 8 for 15 for 130 yards and 1 touchdown.
A crowd of 43,958 came out in full support of TCU with a good show of support by the fans of Minnesota. TCU will get to see first hand what Texas A&M will do to the Mustangs on September 20th when the Aggies come to the Hilltop for a visit.

Since 1984 Texas A&M has enjoyed a run of 12-0-1 against SMU. One week before the Iron Skillet match with TCU this is a game that could be over pretty quickly for SMU as Kenny Hill continues his winning ways.
