    Changes At The Top!

Back in April I was taken to a location that was, in a word, quite interesting and different in the name of a fun afternoon/evening in addition to attacking your senses with activity, games, putt-putt, batting cages for the softball/baseball fan, even a full bar with tasty treats available for people with picky palates.

The friend that took me to this location in Dallas was in a hurry that Sunday night so I was unable to enjoy the full effect. That was not to be the case Tuesday night in Dallas.

    FORE!

Top Golf in Dallas is a place you can go to perfect your golf swing, bond with the friends while watching a sporting event, partake in a libation, even enjoy a good cigar. Located on Park Lane Kitty corner from the 75 and Northwest Highway. The emphasis here is fun, entertainment, and the group outing.

Double tiered ports with target spots to place you golf shots. 1 game consists of 20 shots and a chance to accumulate many points if you can hit a target. The audio system was cranking out 80′s music. That was actually a welcome surprise. There were also HD TV’s everywhere to watch the local guys playing locally. Also a nice touch.

Maybe golf is not your forte and you still want to beat something up for a long period of time. May I recommend you bring an aluminum bat and buy some tokens for a good while in the cages whacking at a round object.

Equally amazing was the number of young couples doing the 1st date thing. For chill fun may I recommend doing a round of putt-putt in the name of miniature golf. There’s always a windmill to putt through…

Little did I know I was given a lifetime membership to Top Golf for a birthday present. If you can handle the noise and sights to focus on your golf swing then Top Golf is the place where you want to be. Open til midnight during the week and 1 am on the weekends. Have fun and bring the whole family!

    I’ll be back soon.

Over and out in Big D.

    Mr. Will
