Week 14 and Other Thoughts Pristine

Hello and Happy Saturday from not so frigid North Texas.

Lots going and the level of excitement and urgency only builds. So many parties, so many events, so many people reappearing into your life that maybe you haven't seen in a long long while. Be sure to get your rest as you make the rounds in the final two weeks of 2011...

Some great college basketball to sink your teeth into as well as some championship games to watch collectively. Xavier-Cincinnati, Ohio Sate-Kansas sans Jared Sullinger, and Indiana-Kentucky.  Army-Navy will have a 112th meeting.

Off the courts, reports that Manny Ramirez will get reinstated into Major League Baseball and that a source reveals a positive drug test for Brewers MVP Ryan Braun. Say it isn't so! Please tell me we are past all of this BS as we are now 4 years removed from those BS hearings.

I was scratching my head when Colt McCoy was allowed to reenter Thursday night's game at Pittsburgh. The ill-fated interception notwithstanding, his father was also in agreement with me. Two plays removed from a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit with James Harrison, Seneca Wallace should have been your man at the lead. Oh well...

A paltry 8-8 week with the picks in Week 13 (108-77-8 for the year). Starting with the easy lock of Cleveland +14 Thursday, in Week 14 I like: Indy +16.5, Houston +3, Green Bay -12, KC +10.5, Detroit-10, Tennessee +3.5, Miami-3, Washington +8, Carolina and Jacksonville +3, Arizona +3.5, Denver-3, San Diego -7, Giants +4.5, and Seattle -10.

Lock of the day will be in Detroit. Possible upset of the day could happen in NJ. I expect a war in Arlington when Sunday Night commences. I also expect a convincing Giants win on the heels of a confidence builder with the Pack...

Make it a great day. Off to Ft. Worth and the Speedway later in the day.

Over and out in Big D.

    Mr. Will
