    The Big 42.

42...42...42...Nah I prefer being thought of as having turned 21 for the 21st time. Double blackjack if you will. I stand before this typewriter a grateful and humbled man.

Since coming to Dallas Texas in February 2001, for most of five years Champps Americana has been my home. Four years in Addison and now the last 14 months in Las Colinas. I received the surprise of surprises from my staff when a chocolate cake with vanilla icing was brought from the back and my bosses began to sing to me.

The cake was delicious and I hereby thank my staff, from Brian James to Ashton to Jessica on down for the thought and for the hilarious birthday card. One of the funnier comments came from bartender Joel when he said, 'The great thing about Alzheimer's is that you meet new people everyday'.

A reference to aging that had me rolling on the floor (that wasn't directed at anyone with Alzheimers BTW...).

I got home in time to see my season tickets for the Rangers arrive in the mail. Yes! Now is when I get excited about baseball, scandal or not...

It looks like tonight might be the night that the new front page look takes effect. The next page Lydell and myself iron out will be the media page...More upcoming...

Oh yes, in closing, while I enjoy the rest of this day, my Final Four for the brackets are Connecticut, UCLA, Duke, and Villanova. I picked Villanova to win it all...

Be safe tomorrow...To think I'm now as old as Elvis when he died...Talk about being 'throne' for a loop...

Over and out in Big D

    Mr Will
