Danny Stays!

To all of you who are about to bracketeer...(fire!) WE SALUTE YOU! Sorry, I've been in an AC/DC mood all weekend. This whole weekend has been one where the conversation has been along the lines of, 'Who's in the the Top 10?' 'Where's Texas at?' 'Can Connecticut knock off Duke?' and 'Do you pick the #12 seed to upset the #5 seed?'. The prelude to March Madness will begin it's germinating process Monday morning. Jason Witten was in Las Colinas last night hanging out and laying low. A regular after Cowboy games last fall, I asked him if he thought that the rumors for Dan Campbell going to New Orleans were true. He didn't believe so.

Friday I was presented with a very special framed/autographed patch of the Dallas Mavericks replete with the whole team's autograph. This is the kind of bonus a fan gives thanks for on a good day. Not that I was trying to collect memorabilia, but it now takes shape. Thank you Mr. Evans for your generosity and benefactorial ways. I am forever grateful!

It took five years but the Master FINALLY made a visit to an Irving hotspot known as 'Cool River'. The band 'Inside-Out' was in attendance. I have known singer Magan almost four years. That girl can sing! Domino on guitar can bust a gut on lead. Met up with a friend and closed the place down. When finished, we had the dance floor resembling a warm pond(smile). Thanks for the hospitality and thanks Magan for the props!
